Technology
RF & Thermal fabric welding: Different materials and designs require different methods. Three-dimensional shapes and Pacific Outdoor's specially coated materials are made for each other. In this process the bag is applied to a mold, pressure is applied and then they introduce energy through thermal or RF (radio frequency) means. The coating that has been pressed into the fabric is then transformed into a molten material, and just as steel would bond on a molecular level, so does the composite fabric. The result is a strong consistent leak-proof seal.
