Technology
WINDSTOPPER® Fabric: provides total windproofness and maximum breathability, keeping you comfortable longer across a wide range of weather conditions and activities. The windproof membrane inside slams the door on windchill and protects the warm yet highly sensitive microclimate that surrounds your skin. And the 1.4 billion micropores in every square inch of the WINDSTOPPER® membrane let water vapor from perspiration escape virtually unhindered, even when you're working at maximum intensity.
Polygiene® technology: a technique for applying silver ions to fabric, which achieves a long-lasting yet natural antibacterial effect. It makes the cloth more hygienic and eliminates foul odours. It is the bacteria that thrive in the presence of sweat that are the main cause of bad smells. The application of the technology also increases the life of your Buff® because bacteria cant deteriorate the fabrics. Environmentally friendly: Polygiene® technology is based on the use of recycled silver salts. Containing a minimum amount of silver ions in its fabric, it achieves the maximum efficacy.
Care
Your Buff® headwear is made of pretty strong stuff, in fact it might possibly out last you. However, if you notice a strange aroma after a few months of use, all you need do is either wash by hand using any form of detergent or machine wash at any temperature and it won't stretch, shrink or run as Buff® headwear is completely colourfast. When it comes to drying all you need do is run down the street with your Buff trailing behind and after a good hour on the run it should be dry or just hang it on the line because it will dry in minutes.

From Karvin Chin on 5/05/10
- Is this Cyclone Buff the new design? Or is it same as the old design.
- Hi Karvin, The cyclone buff has a standard design when it comes to the features it has, however the patterns change every 6 months or so. The ones we have available online are the most upto date version of the cyclone Buff. Thanks

- Does it have the following upgrades as describe in the overseas Buff websites of the New Cyclone Buff.
"The redesign of this special BUFF® consits of 2 major upgrades. 1st, we have lengthened the double layer microfiber panel by 15%. This will provide a better fit as well as keep you warmer due to the longer material. 2nd...the neck area has a new ergonomic design will provide a complete windstopper coverage and fit in the neck collar area." - Hi Karvin, The Cyclone Buffs we have listed online are the improved version. I have checked with the supplier and they have phased out all the older ones and only have the upgraded version in stock now. Thanks

From Sam on 3/06/11
- what's the difference between the polar and cyclone Buff's?
- Hi Sam,
The Polar buffs have a fleece lining sewn into the bottom of a buff to keep you warm on winter days - ideal for walking in freezing temperatures. Whereas the Cyclone Buffs have a Windstopper fabric to keep the wind completely off your neck when undertaking higher speed activities such as skiing or biking.
Thanks!
