Technology

EV®50 foam: Closed cell foam used in the shoulder straps and backpanel. It vigorously opposes compression damage and will not freeze at any temperature you can live through.

Spacermesh™: a breathable back panel material.

420D HD Plain Weave with PU coating: a plain weave, high density 420 denier packcloth that has a simple, abrasion resistant outer surface and good edge stability. Coated with 1.5oz polyurethane. 100% Nylon/100% polyurethane coating.

420D HD Basket Weave with PU coating: this high density 420 denier nylon packcloth uses a basket weave construction to increase tear strength and abrasion resistance. Coated with 1.5oz polyurethane. 100% Nylon/100% polyurethane coating.

HDPE framsheet: high density polyethylene (HDPE) is used for Arc'teryx pack framesheets. It is stress-relieved to prevent warping providing a stiff but light platform.
