Features
- Added comfort: the integrated poles increase volume at the foot end allowing for the full length of the inner tent to be used
- Quick and easy to pitch: slide the 2 poles into the flat pole sleeves; tension using 4 pegs. That's it! Zips have colour coded, reflective, and glow-in-the-dark pulls.
- Storm proof: very few stakes are needed for setup. Numerous pre-mounted Dyneema guylines are attached and packed in “Cord Stuffsacks“. Guyline loops attached to the pole sleeve keep Sirius II taut and secure, even in the roughest weather.
- Large adjustable door: can tuck away into a side pocket; opens to a variety of positions for ventilation.
- Seamless tub floor - even the corner seams are taped
- Attached, suspended inner canopy: can be unhooked and pushed back for extra floor space or used separately
- Fly offers basic shelter if you want to pare down the weight
- Windows can be opened from the inside and are reinforced with mosquito netting and offer ventilation

From Gavin Tayles on 6/11/10
- Hello, i am after a robust tent for two persons for extended trips, mainly used on tops in Fiordland, high wind/rainfall possible/likely, is the pick out of this and MSR hubba hubba?
- Hi Gavin, The MSR Hubba Hubba is a great, durable, waterproof tent however it is not designed for intense wind. If you are looking for something that will stand up to any weather conditions the Black Diamond Storm Track would be more suitable http://www.bivouac.co.nz/gear/camping-and-tramping/tents/black-diamond-stormtrack-tent.html Thanks

- It says on the site it is a 2 door, I can see one door on the pics you have on the site. Where is the other located?
What is the difference between the Sirius Extreme and the SE II?? Thanks.
- Hi Terry, The second door is located at the opposite end of the tent. The major difference between the Sirius Extreme (this is an older model which is why it is on sale) and the Sirius II Extreme is size. The Sirius II Extreme has a larger floor area, 1.3m width by 2.25m length versus the Sirius Extreme which is 1.22m width and 2.1m Length. They both have the same silicone coated fly fabric. Thanks
