Care

The Storm is waterproof rated to IPX7. This does not include salt spray or high-alkalinity fluids. It will continue to function when submerged one meter deep for 30 minutes.

• Do not use the Storm at, or expose it to, temperatures above 60 °C (140 °F).
• At very cold temperatures battery power and life will be diminished.
• To avoid scratching the lens, do not place the headlamp lens down on a surface.

Ensure that your headlamp is clean and dry before and after each use and before storage. DO NOT STORE A WET HEADLAMP. To dry it, turn your headlamp off and open the battery door. Remove the batteries and allow the housing to air dry thoroughly before closing it.

• Do not artificially heat your headlamp to dry it.
• If your headlamp has been exposed to salt water, it must be rinsed with fresh water then dried and assembled to prevent corrosion.
• Use a mild soap and freshwater rinse to clean the elastic strap.
• Do not clean in washing machine, dishwasher or with a high-pressure hose.
• Do not scrub with abrasive substances or surfaces.
• If the battery contacts are corroded, remove the corrosion by sanding lightly with a fine-grain emery cloth.
