Questions on Beal Dry Booster Rope 9.7mm
-
From Sean M on 29/01/11
- Hi I was just wondering if you could recommend a 60 m rope that would be suitable for some lead climbing and possibly a tiny bit of top rope climbing but was still light enough to take on the mountain.
Cheers Sean. - Hi Sean, You will definitely need a single rope if you intend to use it for some top roping so I would suggest the Stinger http://www.bivouac.co.nz/brands/beal/beal-stinger-iii-rope-9-4mm.html, the Standard Booster
http://www.bivouac.co.nz/brands/beal/beal-dry-booster-rope-9-7mm.html or the Dry Booster http://www.bivouac.co.nz/brands/beal/beal-dry-booster-rope-9-7mm.html. If there is a possibility that the rope will get wet I would go with the Dry Booster as this will protect the sheath of the rope by repelling water and by the protective film combating all sorts of wear. Thanks
