Questions on Black Diamond Raven Ice Tool
-
From Robert on 9/02/11
- Hi, can you tell me the differences between the Raven, the Pro and with grip. Different weights and prices are noted but same strengths/capabilities?
Looking to purchase in Christchurch on arrival in March for use on Alpine Guides TMC. Thanks - Hi Robert, All three of these axes have a stainless steel head and spike, however the Raven Pro (362grams) has a lighter weight aluminium shaft and the Raven with grip (505grams) has a dual density grip along the shaft for increased grip and comes with the Slider Leash. All three of these axes would be suitable for use on your course, it is up to you which features will be more suitable to you. Thanks
