  • From Baz on 28/09/10

    • What happens after battery life dies? replacement battery or charge, and what will availability be like for replacements if needed??
Assume that comes with registration details to SAR or poliice file?
    • Hi Baz, The batteries of the McMurdo PLB's have an expiry date on them. Normally they last for 5-6 years. If you check the battery this will tell you when it needs to be replaced. They can be replaced by the supplier for approx $200, who waterproof test etc. You can take it into any or our Bivouac stores if you need a new battery and they can organise it for you. Thanks
