The Nuclei SV Parka is Black Diamond's warmest synthetically insulated belay parka and delivers outstanding thermal performance. It features body-mapped Coreloft™ insulation for maximum warmth, an ultralight, ultra-durable Hadron LCP shell that is windproof and water resistant and a 100% recycled polyester lining. A helmet-compatible StormHood™ and drawcord hem provide further protection and 5 pockets (3 external, 2 internal) keep essentials close.

- Proprietary Hadron® LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) grid face fabric is incredibly light and exceptionally durable with abrasion resistance rivalling fabrics twice its weight
- Lightweight, highly durable, windproof Hadron® LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) has an acrylic coating for lasting water resistance and is coloured with dope-dyed yarns
- FC0 DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish repels moisture and is PFAS-free
- 20D Pertex® diamond-filament mini ripstop liner is light, durable, breathable, and made from 100% recycled nylon
- 190g/m2 Coreloft™ Continuous synthetic insulation in the body provides breathable warmth
- Lighter-weight 90g/m2 Coreloft™ Continuous insulation is used in the sleeves and hood for warmth with reduced bulk
- Coreloft-insulated StormHood™ provides added warmth even if wet and has a 5-point adjustment system to maintain peripheral vision and coverage with or without a helmet
