Polartec® 200 Thermal Pro® is an unrestricting 280g/m2, two jumper warmth fleece, suitable for general outdoor activities, travel and urban wear. Thermal Pro® has an extremely durable outer surface which shows no signs of wear even after year's of constant use. This is achieved by milling the fibres on the outer surface so they are very short (just like giving someone a crew cut). The shorter fibres stand up vertically from their base and are far more resilient to collapse than longer fibres. Warmth in fleece is all about vertical fibre orientation (or thickness) and its durability is about maintaining this vertical orientation even during washing and wear. Just like a crew cut, the fibres of Thermal Pro® stay vertical for a very long time.
