The Mira III is the three person option, or a luxury 2 person option, in Exped's Mira series of free standing lightweight tents. Quick to set up with its continous pole sleeves, it has a cross ridge pole and an arch pole at the head end to provide stability and plenty of headroom and is ridiculously light weighing in at 2.4kg all inclusive. The canopy can be used by itself or with the fly which is easily attached with quick release buckles, or just use the fly with the separately sold footprint for ultralight trips. Gear loops and pockets provide organisation inside and multiple stake out points outside give stability during rough weather.

- The high ridge pole allows comfortable sitting for two people
- The arch pole at the head end of the canopy creates additional head room and adds stability
- Thee are 2 doors and vestibules. The vestibules are large enough to hold pack, shoes, dog etc. The cross ridge pole protects the canopy from rain even with open doors.
- The height of the doors makes entering and exiting the tent easy
- The fine mosquito mesh in the canopy keeps the tiniest bugs out and allows excellent ventilation on hot summer nights
- There are Taffeta nylon panels on sides and roof of the canopy to keep wind and condensation out
- Gear loops and pockets keep personal items organised - a clothes line can also be attached to the gear loops
- The tent holds 2 Exped Long Wide size mats or 3 Exped Medium size mats for a perfect nights sleep
- The pole sleeves on the canopy are continuous and sealed at one end. This allows quick setup and teardown without the need to walk around the tent.
- A partition in the stuff sack creates a separate compartment for both rainfly and canopy with poles
- The accessory bag has separate compartments for poles, pegs and repair kit. This keeps poles and repair kit away from the mostly muddy pegs. Clean tent poles work better and last longer.
- Combine the rainfly with the Mira III Footprint (sold separately) for a lightweight set up option
