The Nepal S.A. Ice Tool has been designed to make self-arresting easier, quicker and more secure on classic-mountaineering and glacier-walk adventures. It is lightweight and easy to use, has a hot-forged carbon pick and adze, an aluminium shaft and comes with an adjustable leash with tip protector for safe stowing when not in use.

- Hot forged carbon head with an adze and a steel pick with teeth along half its length
- Slight curve in the upper shaft forces more weight onto the pick for a more secure self-arrest (where the S.A. in the name comes from)
- Steel pick penetrates and holds well in hard neve snow
- Drop-pick design bites in gradually instead of snagging and pulling the axe from your hands
- Adjustable leash with rubber tip protector included
