The Camalot Z4 was born after talking with top trad-climbing BD athletes and their dream to have a single-stem cam that stays rigid in-hand but flexes once placed. Enter the RigidFlex stem design with which, through independently floating trigger wires, the Camalot Z4 doesn't bend while under tension and retracted yet, once placed, allows the stem to move ensuring a placement stays put and doesn't walk when pulled directionally. The larger sizes have a dual twisted-cable construction for uniform flex in all directions and the smaller sizes have a single cable to avoid buckling when pulling hard on the trigger awhile also reducing the trigger profile. Each has 4 lobes sandblasted for extra holding power. The Z4 range starts at a new, tiny zero right up to a point 75 so you can dial in your rack wherever you climb.
