TX.Direct® Spray-On adds water repellency and revives breathability to wet weather clothing with wicking liners that shouldn't be machine washed, has been thoroughly worn and is now soaking up water rather than repelling it. Use Tech Wash® first to clean your wet weather gear and then use TX.Direct® to provide a breathable, Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish. The spray-on application allows for direct treatment of areas which require it most (e.g. elbows and seams on jackets) and will not compromise the properties of internal wicking liners. Easy and safe to apply by hand (non flammable, PFC and aerosol free).
Features

- Adds water repellency to the areas that need it most and revives breathability without tumble drying as the durable water repellency (DWR) develops on air drying (saving energy and protecting more vulnerable, older garments from heat)
- Enhances the performance of your gear, keeping you warmer and drier
- Recommended for GORE-TEX®, Sympatex®, eVent®, Nikwax Analogy® and all other waterproof fabrics
- A 300ml bottle is enough to waterproof 1-2 garments depending on the condition of the fabric being treated
- For best results remove all non-washable parts and always clean item(s) first with Nikwax Tech Wash® (for fairly new or recently re-waterproofed items the DWR will be revitalised just from cleaning). No need to dry item(s) before waterproofing
- Protect working surface and lay clean, wet, fastened garment flat
- Hold bottle 15cm away from garment
- Apply evenly to outside of fabric
- Wait for 2 minutes. Remove any surplus product with a damp cloth.
- Check carefully to ensure no areas have been missed
- After several minutes check for and remove any surplus product with a damp cloth
