The lightweight Avera™ MIPS® Helmet protects your head, is comfortable and looks stylish all at the same time! It features an integrated MIPS® protection system, In-Mold™ construction and a dialled-in fit with its In Form™ Fit System with Vertical Tuning. On top of that it has plush comfort, adjustable venting for temperature control (even while wearing gloves or mitts), seamless compatibility with Giro goggles and a fog-free Stack Vent.

- Integrated MIPS® (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) brain protection system: all Giro helmets are designed to reduce as much energy as possible while meeting and exceeding stringent safety standards. The goal of their integrated MIPS®-equipped helmets is to reduce rotational forces while enhancing fit and comfort by combining the MIPS slip plane with the helmet's adjustable fit system. Giro believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the amount or rotational force that may be transferred to the brain in certain impacts.
- Hardshell with In-mold Hardbody™ lower wrap: the two-piece shell combines a tough outer hard shell with a polycarbonate lower shell permanently fused to the liner for durability without excess weight
- Stack Vent technology was developed based on research showing the majority of warm air that can cause fogging comes from the goggle's centre top vent. Aligning the Stack Vent in the helmet with the centre vent of the goggle helps keep is clear and fog-free
- Thermostat Control Adjustable Venting allows you to custom tune airflow instantly with a simple, low profile control button on the outside of the helmet. No other system is faster or easier to adjust and nothing is effective at keeping you comfortable
- In Form™ Fit System makes it easy to dial in a custom fit in seconds, even with gloves on. An ergo-friendly dial at the base of the helmet provides up to 6cm of adjustment and enhanced stability
- Vertical tuning accommodates different goggles and head shapes for a custom fit free of gaper gap
- Seamless interface between Giro helmets and Giro goggles for an exceptional fit and dependable, worry-free function
