Introducing... Icebreaker MerinoLOFT™
The brand new MerinoLOFT™ technology is made from 100% recycled polyester outer shell with DWR outer finish. The insulation layer is made up of merino wool, ethically sourced strong wool, and a touch of synthetic to increase durability and enable machine washing. The lining is a 100% woven merino wool melange.
Sometimes Icebreaker needs to add synthetics to give garments that little bit of extra performance benefit cannot be obtained for natural materials, hence the case with snythetic fibres here in the MerinoLOFT™ range.
What is the composition of MerinoLOFT™?
A. The outer material is a durable recycled polyester mini-ripstop with durable water resistant finish
B. The insulation is made from wool made from 44% merino wool (10% is recycled merino off-cuts), 44% strong wool, 12% synthetic
C. The inner lining is 100% lightweight woven merino
Is MerinoLOFT™ machine washable?
Totally, just throw it in the washing machine with your other washing and put it on the line to dry.
