Bust: Place your tape measure across your back, underneath your arms and then across the widest part on your bust. Don't 'squash' yourself.
Arm length: Measure from the back of your neck to the top of your shoulders, to your elbow and down to your wrist bone
Waist: Measure the smallest part of your torso
Hip: Place your measuring tape around your body at the fullest part of your hip, feet together
In instances when your body measurements for bust and height (or waist and hip) are in two different suggested sizes, Icebreaker recommends going with the size from your bust (or hip) measurement.
The Merino 150 Siren Tank is a sleek, stylish and versatile layering piece for any day of the year. Made from Merino Corespun for stretchiness, softness, and durability it features a scoop neck and a slim, flattering fit for feminine style. Perfect layered over the Siren Bra and worn with one of the Icebreaker underwear bottoms like the Siren Bikini.
Merino Corespun wraps Merino fibre around a super-fine nylon core to create lightweight, warm and durable garments for demanding activities. The enhanced strength and durability of the fabric retains the next-to-skin softness, breathability, temperature regulation and odour resistance of Merino wool.
The smaller the micron, the finer the fibre, the softer it feels. The diameter of a Merino fibre is measured in microns – where one micron equals one millionth of a metre. Icebreaker's Merino fibres range from 15.5 to 23.5 microns to ensure a soft hand feel across our skin to outer layers. Finer fibres feel softer because they bend more easily when in contact with the skin.
Icebreaker next-to-skin layers: 15.5-18.5 micron
Icebreaker mid layers: 18.6-22.5 micron
Icebreaker outer layers: 22.6-23 micron
Synthetic fibres: 30 micron
Traditional wool fibre: 50 micron
Human hair: 70 micron
