Lorpen Men's Tri-Layer Light Multi-sport Shorty Sock XCTM
Features
- 3 layer sock:
- Hydrophobic (non-absorbent) polyester inside layer: CoolMax® fibres wick sweat away from your feet without absorbing it, keeping your feet dry
- Hydrophilic natural absorbent middle layer: Tencel® fibre absorbs your sweat from the inside and sends it to the outside of the sock where it evaporates more quickly over a larger surface area.
- Nylon outer layer: the "tough guy" of the fibre world, nylon is highly resistant to abrasion and is located in the high friction areas of the sock
- The advantages of the 3 layers:
- a dry foot reduces the chance of irritation that can be caused by hours of physical effort
- helps regulate temperature, reducing the chance of "hot foot"
- incidence of bacteria is minimised because the sock stays drier on your foot
- LifeFit fit elements:
- Lycra throughout the sock avoids the slipping and bagging out that can happen with a sock over time
- Multi density knit provides optimum cushioning and superior fit
- The mesh instep minimises bulk on the top of the foot and promotes heat and moisture release
- The flat knit toe seam avoids any irritation

Technologies | Tri Layer Technology:Tri-layer represents the evolution (some might say revolution) of knit technology, layering both synthetic and natural yarns in a way that improves moisture management, comfort and durability. Check out our Lorpen Tri-Layer Sock Technology page (this link will take you to a new window). CoolMax® fabric: a four-channel fibre forms a transport system that pulls moisture away from the skin to the outer layer of the fabric. It then dries that moisture faster than any other fabric and thermoregulate the body. Tencel® fabric: a natural, man-made fibre that's soft, breathable, lightweight and comfortable as well as shrink-resistant, durable and easy to care for. Exceptionally strong whether wet or dry. Made from the natural cellulose found in wood pulp and is fully biodegradable. |
