The fingerless design allows a firm grip on gear while still providing protection from the elements and they have enough back-of-hand protection and a super-durable goat leather and split-suede palm for the best balance of on-and-off performance for all-day climbs. The overlays on the palm with their Kevlar® stitching prevent rope burn while belaying and repelling and the carabiner loop allow you to keep them close to hand.
