Birkenstocks generally run true to size in European (EU) sizing, but often feel larger than standard US sizing (which we typically use in New Zealand).

A good fit has around 5mm space at the heel and 10mm at the toes. They come in two widths; narrow (fits standard/medium) and regular (fits wide/broad). We recommend sizing down if you are between sizes.
