Originally from Tirau, Rebecca grew up on a hard working dairy farm. The outdoors have always been a massive part of her life, from family camping trips to playing every sport she could while growing up. For six year Rebecca was a part of the New Zealand Elite High-Performance Squad, where she competed for New Zealand in various global locations in the World Triathlon Series.

This enthusiasm has continued throughout Rebecca's life, now she loves being active in the Canterbury hills, running, riding, mountain biking, hiking, snow skiing, sampling artisanal gins (she has far too many hobbies).

After pausing her Triathlon obsession,Rebecca launched a multi sports endeavor with her first Coast to Coast in 2022, having to upskill in the challenging kayaking to compete. She will be running the 2025 Coast to Coast with all her experience, training, passion, and skill trying for a great finish. We at Bivouac Outdoor are proud to sponsor and support her efforts.
