The Alpha Pots are made of a high spec hard anodised premium aluminium that allows these pots to be thin and light without compromising on strength and durability. Features include a sandblasted base that adds texture for stability on camp stoves, a Pivot-Lock™ handle for secure grip with no danger of it collapsing and the ability to rotate it inward and lock the lid and contents in place and an easy-flow strainer lid with a Lid Keep™ that allows you to hook the lid on the pot rim to keep it out of the dirt. Functional for solo use right through to group use.

So much lighter than my last pot. Handle seems sturdy, not expecting any issues there. However, if you put the pot with your left hand, and had not clamped the handle properly, it could end badly.

It isn't true fastest at boiling water, old pot ward definitely better (2m40s vs 1m40s for a cup...
