- The kit includes one CR 2430 battery and a battery lid with O-ring.
Suunto Tip: HOW TO CHANGE A SUUNTO BATTERY
- Insert a coin into the slot on the battery compartment cover on the backside of the Wristop. NEVER USE A SCREWDRIVER. There are no threads!
- Turn the coin counterclockwise just until it lines up with the circle marked "OPEN" alongside the cover.
- Remove the cover. The cover will usually not pop out. Use a fingernail to pry it open but mind the O-ring. Ensure that the O ring and all surfaces are clean and dry. Do not stretch or puncture the O ring.
- Remove the old battery carefully.
- Place the new battery into the compartment (positive side facing up).
- With the O ring in the correct position, replace the battery compartment cover and turn it clockwise with a coin just until it lines up with the "CLOSED" circle. DO NOT TURN PAST THIS POINT.
