Technologies
FUTURELIGHT™ is The North Face®'s best-in-class standard for breathable-waterproof technology. Using a nanospun polyurethane fibre structure, they have produced their most lightweight, comfortable and breathable membrane to date. FUTURELIGHT™ technology allows air and vapour to permeate the fabric while maintaining waterproofness, improving temperature regulation and reducing overheating in changing weather conditions. They use fully recycled fabrics, mostly non-PFC DWR treatment and less glue in the lamination process. Evaluating their factory partnerships, they ensure sustainable practices meet or exceed their standards.
FUTURELIGHT™ gear is designed to be worn over an insulation layer or mid layer for breathable-waterproof protection from harsh weather.
