Dyneema®: a UHMwPE fibre.invented by DSM 20 years ago and it's been in production since 1990. The fibre is incredibly versatile with virtually limitless applications. The fibre is manufactured by means of a gel-spinning process that combines extreme strength with incredible softness. So what are the properties that make this fibre so special?
- High strength/low weight - Dyneema® is 15 times stronger than steel, and 40% stronger than aramids on a weight-for-weight basis
- Low specific gravity (0.97) - Dyneema® floats on water and is ideal for lightweight solutions
- Excellent chemical resistance - Dyneema® is chemically inert, and independent studies have confirmed that Dyneema® performs well in dry, wet, salty and humid conditions, as well as other situations where chemicals are present
- UV resistant - Products made with Dyneema® fibre show strong resistance to photo degradation when exposed to UV light. The high UV resistance of the fiber ensures continuing high performance
- Moisture resistant - Dyneema® fibre is hydrophobic. It resists water absorption, providing an extra level of protection and durability
- High durability - Dyneema® fibre can withstand the harshest environments for a longer time. This is due to its inherent strength, and its resistance to many damaging chemical agents.
Under the effect of water or ice, slings and quick-draws become much more prone to abrasion and lose strength: increase your precautions. The colour of the internal thread identifies the year of manufacture. The melting point of nylon is 230°C, that of dyneema is 145°C, and that of polyester is 260°C.

International Orders:
We are unable to ship internationally.
NZ Overnight Delivery:
All standard orders are sent via NZ Post’s Overnight Delivery Service. Orders placed before 2pm are usually delivered the next working day - nationwide, however delivery timeframes may occasionally vary due to courier delays outside of our control.
- Options for 'Signature Required' or 'No Signature Required' via the checkout.
- We deliver to NZ physical addresses and PO Boxes (no parcel lockers).
- We ship Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays).
- For Rural Deliveries and in certain parts of NZ - time frames may take a bit longer.
- Additional delays may also occur if further payment or address information is required.

- Orders with both standard and oversized items in them, will be delivered in the oversized delivery timeframe of 3-7 working days.
We strongly advise all customers to check goods thoroughly upon delivery before destroying packaging or removing any attached tags.
Oversized Deliveries:
Shipping of oversized items takes 3-7 working days. However you are able to pick these up Same Day should the oversized item be available in your selected store. Find out more here.

All items are tracked using NZ Post. Check your Shipping Confirmation email for a link or click here and enter your tracking details.
To get your order to you as quickly as possible, your items may be shipped from multiple locations. This means your order could arrive in separate packages or be delivered on different days.

Non Shipping Days and Delays:
- Orders placed late Friday or over the weekend are processed the following Monday.
- Sale periods may cause delays due to increased order volume.

Rural Delivery:
No additional charges or fees for any rural deliveries throughout New Zealand. Some rural deliveries may take longer than standard NZ delivery times. Rural may take a further 1-2 days.
Cancellation Policy:
Unfortunately orders cannot be cancelled or modified once they are placed. However, if there's an issue with your order, please contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible and we'll do our best to help.
