About Bivouac Outdoor

How Bivouac came to be...

Back in 1988 Wayne Martin started Bivouac with 2 others in a small store in Fort Street, Auckland. Today Wayne is based in Christchurch and is the owner of 12 stores around the country, plus a small outlet store in Wellington.

Being a keen outdoorsman, the opportunity to own a store selling outdoor gear was too good to miss and this passion continues as our driving force.
