The compact, thin Back Up Line ultra-static cord is especially designed for hoisting, rappelling and hauling in rescue situations. Its rough sheath provides excellent grip and control and the aramid and polyamide used to make the rope lower the weight to just 21g per metre. Not for use in roping, progressing or any situation requiring dynamic qualities.
