For wet shoes or boots simply place the Moisture Absorbers inside pushing them all the way to the toes of the footwear. Then give them a light shake to evenly distribute the silica beads (back towards the heel) and leave to work their magic. If footwear is not soaking wet then they can dry in as little as 4-6 hours!
If your footwear has taken the brunt of the elements and is extremely wet remove insoles and soak up excess moisture with newspaper, towel or a sponge before inserting fully regenerated Winter Sports Moisture Absorbers and leaving overnight.
Not just great for footwear, the adjustable leash allows you to hang your Moisture Absorbers in damp salopettes and jackets to dry cuffs and even great for use with water sports equipment to speed up the drying of wetsuits and drysuits.
Boot Bananas Winter Sports Moisture Absorbers can easily be part regenerated by drying them in the sunshine, on a radiator, or in the oven for 1 2 hours no higher than 110°C. Once dry and cool, place back in the pack and reseal to ensure they are ready for action when you need them next. Use the oven method to fully regenerate and for optimum performance regenerate regularly.
If submerged the silica beads will break and the Winter Sports Moisture Absorbers will no longer function effectively.

*Due to the oversized nature of certain products in our range we must charge an oversized shipping fee of $30 for 1 oversized item, or $50 for 2 or more oversized items to reflect the cost of shipping. This will include large packs, tents or heavy items. In most cases, a note will be displayed in the product description where this is applicable.
International Orders:
We are unable to ship internationally.
NZ Overnight Delivery:
All standard orders are sent via NZ Post’s Overnight Delivery Service. Orders placed before 2pm are usually delivered the next working day - nationwide, however delivery timeframes may occasionally vary due to courier delays outside of our control.
- Options for 'Signature Required' or 'No Signature Required' via the checkout.
- We deliver to NZ physical addresses and PO Boxes (no parcel lockers).
- We ship Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays).
- For Rural Deliveries and in certain parts of NZ - time frames may take a bit longer.
- Additional delays may also occur if further payment or address information is required.

- Orders with both standard and oversized items in them, will be delivered in the oversized delivery timeframe of 3-7 working days.
We strongly advise all customers to check goods thoroughly upon delivery before destroying packaging or removing any attached tags.
Oversized Deliveries:
Shipping of oversized items takes 3-7 working days. However you are able to pick these up Same Day should the oversized item be available in your selected store. Find out more here.

All items are tracked using NZ Post. Check your Shipping Confirmation email for a link or click here and enter your tracking details.
To get your order to you as quickly as possible, your items may be shipped from multiple locations. This means your order could arrive in separate packages or be delivered on different days.

Non Shipping Days and Delays:
- Orders placed late Friday or over the weekend are processed the following Monday.
- Sale periods may cause delays due to increased order volume.
Note: During public holidays courier services are unavailable and dispatch will occur the next working day:

Rural Delivery:
No additional charges or fees for any rural deliveries throughout New Zealand. Some rural deliveries may take longer than standard NZ delivery times. Rural may take a further 1-2 days.
Cancellation Policy:
Unfortunately orders cannot be cancelled or modified once they are placed. However, if there's an issue with your order, please contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible and we'll do our best to help.
