Expert Opinion

I've been loving this jacket for the last two years, climbing and tramping up and down New Zealand; from the Waitakere Ranges to the Darran Mountains and everywhere in-between. It strikes the perfect balance between weight, waterproofness, and durability; light enough that you don't notice it in your pack, keeps you dry, and doesn't get ripped up doing it. Ideal for those days out in the mountains where you need a properly waterproof jacket but don't want to deal with the weight. I'd recommend it especially for taller, skinnier folks due to the extra length in the body and sleeves, the cut is quite trim while maintaining good freedom of movement with the stretch fabric. The Empel face fabric DWR treatment has been impressive, I've only just had to re-treat it. Your mates will definitely never lose you in this color, highly recommended.

Fit Tip: True to size in the chest, long in the body and the arms.
