The Targhee IV Mid is great boot if you need something durable because you are going through rough terrain or tend trip on rocks and roots a lot. The wider toe box allows my toes to spread out for better stability, and the mid style gives you more ankle support. I would recommend this boot to anyone who is willing to compromise weight to have a more hard-wearing boot.

Did an overnight hike to the Crosbies Hut in the Coromandel and these boots were awesome! The grip was better than I expected on slippery roots and rocks and feet stayed dry the whole hike even after passing through some very muddy pits! I put my own insoles in since I have a high arch, and they were so comfy right out of the box. My feet are 23.5cm and I got a size 7US. If you have square wide feet, then these are the boots for you!
