HUGE improvement on the Olympus 6! As a long-time fan of the Lone Peaks' I was bummed to not be able to try the Olympus 6's as I got a ton of heel slip/movement when trying on in store and never wanted to commit to them for fear of blisters. But the sock design on the new Olympus 275 has gotten rid of that movement entirely and the Matrix upper is a huge win for durability considering previous Olympus models' durability issues with the mesh upper. Picked up a pair of these recently and super stoked to put these to the test on trail!

The Olympus 6 is a light and high cushioned shoe for big km days on hard terrain. A favorite amongst Te Araroa walkers, especially for those road section days, for a reason. Similar to Altra's other models these boast the classic wide and roomy toe box, a breathable mesh upper, and well cushioned heel. The upper around the heel is very shallow on either side and may cause the shoe to feel loose or slip if you have a smaller heel volume.
