The Veloce is an awesome beginner/intermediate shoe thanks to its roomier toe box and softer construction. The rubber is super soft and grippy and I found these awesome for bouldering indoors - because the rubber is thinner/softer I wouldn't take them outdoors unless you want to wear holes in them in record speed. These definitely suit wider feet - those with narrower feet may find the Velcro isn't long enough to get a snug fit and I found the heel was really hard to get a snug fit in. But overall, these were an awesome shoe to get used to a more asymmetrical shape and downturned toe.
