The Scarpa Moraine is a more rugged light trail boot offering more rigidity and support than other light trail options. Perfect for technical or rockier terrain where you don't want to feel sharp rocks through your sole, or if you're looking for a bit more ankle support without going up to a backpacking boot. I really appreciated how supportive these were with a heavier pack on a multi-day trip after I had been dealing with some knee pain during descents using less supportive shoes on previous trips.
