The Arc'teryx Alpha is my choice for very active adventures where a high performance shell is required, but in a lightweight form factor. The Alpha gives me the security of being protected by best in class waterproofing in 3L GORE-TEXï¿½ Pro, while Hadronï¿½ 3L GORE-TEXï¿½ in lower wear areas reduces weight and bulk in my pack, but also breathes better than GORE-TEXï¿½ Pro, making for an extremely versatile shell for high output adventures.

The Powder Town Jacket is a very great value for money snow jacket. The jacket fits most body types comfortably. It provides all the pockets you may need to make your day at the ski station effortless and the pit zips allow breathability. This is not an insulated snow jacket so do layer up or you will freeze!
For a good quality fully waterproof everyday ski field jacket, this option is kind on your wallet compared to most other competitors.
