Thais

Thais is one of Bivouac's Sales Assistants and loves hiking in the mountains, climbing, running and travelling. You'll often find her climbing in the Port Hills or heading into Arthur's Pass for a hike. When it comes to gear, she values comfort and lightweight gear. She tries to keep things minimal but will always choose comfort in important items like her shoes, pack, poles and sleeping system. Thais has done plenty of overnight trips in New Zealand and overseas, along with multiple day hikes. She loves trying new things in the outdoors, recently starting canyoning and hoping to get into some light mountaineering. For Thais, every trip and every climb is a chance to gain confidence and push her skills outside her comfort zone.
