If you’re looking for a comfortable bag that manages weight extremely well, this is the bag for you. It’s by no means the lightest pack, but that means it can accommodate a much heavier load. If you’re looking to do some overnight trips in the range of 3-6 nights with light-to-midweight gear, think Milford track, Lake Waikaremoana, Abel Tasman, or Round the Mountain this will be an ideal volume for you. The harness is extremely customizable and moulds to your body over-time. The ease of adjustability paired with the comfort of this bag are why it’s easily one of our most popular and asked about packs.

The Anti-Gravity design of this pack does make the hip belt quite stiff at first – it does relax over time but if you have wider hips and this pack doesn’t quite work for you, I’d recommend looking at the Ariel EF.

    Fit tip:
    Hugs the hips really tightly
    • Load range 11-16kg
    • AntiGravityâ„¢ suspension:
      • 4mm powder coated full peripheral frame
      • Easy to access and operate cam-lock torso adjustment system
      • Frame sizing allows for two size per gender fit
    • AntiGravityâ„¢ backpanel: two-tone spacer mesh adds strength and the silicone print in lumbar zone adds grip for load transfer and comfort
    • AntiGravityâ„¢ harness: die-cut foam lower and mesh ExoForm wrap upper and Fit-on-the-Fly® adjustment expands the fit range
    • Hipbelt:
      • Revolutionary AG system seamlessly extends the tensioned backpanel into the hipbelt
      • Hipbelt overlay is integrated into the frame to ensure consistent load transfer
      • Extendable Custom Fit-on-the-Fly® Hipbelt offers a precise fit for varying waist sizes
      • Incremental length and angle adjustments allow for a fine-tuned fit
      • Crossbody ErgoPull design pulls weight into lumbar when hipbelt is tightened
      • Dual zipped hipbelt pockets
    • Curved zip access on each side panel
    • Floating top lid with lash points
    • Fabric reinforced front shove-it pocket
    • Dual upper/lower side compression straps
    • Tall dual-access side water bottle pockets
    • Zipped sleeping bag compartment with removable divider
    • Removable sleeping pad straps
    • Dual ice axe loops with upper compression strap capture
