I think this is probably one of, if not the best value for money rain shells out there. The Ascentshell membrane is super breathable while still keeping you dry and has the best ability to ventilate with pit zips that can be fully undone to turn the jacket into a poncho for those super humid days. It's lightweight but still super waterproof, making it great for people new to hiking or seasoned trampers alike.

As someone with wider hips and a shorter torso, I've struggled to find a jacket that fits my hips without being too large in the shoulders/arms - but this jacket fits me perfectly! I also love the softer/matte finish of this jacket so that when I wear it in town I don't make those swooshing/crinkly noises with every little movement that some jackets make.

With an athletic fit, I would recommend sizing up for those wanting more room.
