Annie

Annie is one of Bivouac's store staff and has always been a huge fan of the outdoors. She grew up snorkelling, diving, fishing and swimming, but in recent years has made her way inland and now LOVES her multiday adventures whenever she can get out. Her favourite spots are anywhere coastal, especially Kawau Island, Tāwharanui and beachy hikes like Dukes Nose and the Rakiura Track. When it comes to gear, Annie values versatility, durability and cost effectiveness. She's relatively new to the hiking world, so anything that makes getting out the door easier and less daunting is right up her alley. She's completed three of Aotearoa's Great Walks (and only had to get helicoptered out of one), is PADI certified and is currently learning to sail.
