You'll see these all over climbing gym and in the outdoors, and that's because they do exactly what a good water bottle should do. I've had multiple, and not because they've broken, more because I've left them places. You'd be doing really well to shatter one and the wide mouth is great for filling from a filter or streams. The measurements on the side are great for cooking freeze dried meals and they can even hold boiling water to be used as a hot water bottle on cold winter nights. Over time, I find where the top connects to the bottle can wear out. so I'd keep an eye out for that. Bonus points for being a great place to put stickers you collect from your travels!
