Light and very durable pack that can be used on long day and as well on multiday hikes. It is narrower shape which gives enough room for movement in more challenging terrains. I'm using it as well as hiking-camera pack, and straps on the bottom the bag are super useful for holding camera tripod. I highly recommend use of pack liner and dry bags due to top-loading design.

Fit tip:
Comfy up to 12-14kg. Over that weight it is missing a bit padding on shoulder and hip straps.
  • Load range 7-16kg
  • Top-loading design with drawcord closure
  • Constructed with Osprey's technical NanoFly® fabric, which is reinforced with a triple-grid UHMWPE ripstop for outstanding strength, and extra-tough stretch pockets, this pack elevates our understanding of durability
  • Talon Pro is designed to be lightweight, fast moving and thoroughly featured to effectively adapt to the multi-sport demands of on-the-go adventurers and athletes
  • New torso adjustment and premium injection-moulded framesheet provides just-right structure to the pack and allows for a more comprehensive fit across the full spectrum of torso range
  • 4.0 mm LightWireâ„¢ peripheral frame effectively transfers load to hip belt
  • Injection-moulded AirScapeâ„¢ framesheet with die-cut foam provides a supportive, close-to-body fit while offering flexibility and ventilated airflow channels for active use
  • Mesh-covered foam lumbar for lightweight and comfortable contact surfaces
  • Sliding yoke torso length system ensures precise, stable fit for all users and is easily adjusted with two webbing straps
  • BioStretchâ„¢ harness and hip belt:
    • Integrated BioStretchâ„¢ seams offer maximum flexibility without sacrificing stability for dynamic body movement
    • Spacermesh over die-cut foam provides breathable, comfortable contact surface
    • Adjustable sternum strap with safety whistle buckle
    • Crossbody ErgoPull hip belt system to pull lumbar to your body for stability
    • Dual-zipped fabric hip belt pockets
  • Removable, floating lid can be extended to accommodate overloads
  • Internal compression strap effectively controls upper load
  • Internal hydration reservoir sleeve with centre pass through port
  • Large stretch mesh front panel pocket

The Sirrus 44 is a great pack to choose if you are looking at the 36L and thinking you just need that extra space or if you are simply thinking on taking it on a one to two night tramp. The 44L is an ideal volume if you don't want to overpack and like to carry less or if you are mostly staying in huts. The Sirrus uses the Airscape back technology which allows more airflow through your back. This in turn can cause some people to feel like the shoulder straps are pulling on the collar bone as the pack is naturally going to sit further away from your back.
This model is good if you are going to be using it in summer or hot countries where you know you will want that airflow and comfort.

Fit tip:
Multiple torso lengths. Sits further from your back.
  • Load range: 7 - 16kg
  • AirSpeedâ„¢ suspension: supportive mesh trampoline backpanel provides excellent ventilation and the LightWireâ„¢ peripheral frame tensions the backpanel mesh and creates load support structure
  • Padded, full-yoke harness featuring
    • Edgeless design, die-cut airflow channels and breathable spacermesh contact surfaces
    • Load lifters balance upper pack for optimal weight distribution
    • Adjustable sternum strap with magnetic closure, safety whistle and magnetic bite valve attachment
  • Mesh-covered padded hipbelt integrates seamlessly into the mesh backpanel for ultimate comfort with Crossbody ErgoPullâ„¢ system to ensure a snug fit for optimal load transfer and two zipped pockets for keeping small necessities to hand
  • Top-loading main compartment with cinch closure and top lid
  • Hidden side-zip access to main compartment
  • Zipped bottom access to separate, collapsible compartment
  • Fixed top lid with large compartment and underlid zipped pocket with key clip
  • Large, hidden side-zip pocket for additional storage
  • Stretch side pockets for water bottles or other quick-access items
  • Upper and lower side compression straps to stabilise your load
  • Ice tool loop with bungee tie-off
  • Stow-on-the-Goâ„¢ trekking pole attachment
  • Front panel lash loops for attaching extra gear
  • Internal sleeve with hose routing port and Hydraclip for easily hanging hydration reservoir (reservoir not included)
  • Removable sleeping pad/accessory straps
  • Raincover included in a pocket at the base of the pack
  • This product meets bluesign® PRODUCT requirement, which means materials and components have been selected that adhere to rigorous environmental and social criteria during production

My partner uses this pack on any of our multi day tramps where he wants to go lightweight but bring a few more comforts than when he goes fast packing. This pack is quite minimal but has everything you could need. The roll top closure allows you to compress the pack down easily as well as offering a lighter option than zips. The Sailcloth Ultra 200 fabric has this odd crinkly static feeling that is light weight and extremely durable. Additionally, the inner is seam sealed, making this pack waterproof and ready to bee used in all weather conditions. The outer mesh is super roomy as it's basically the whole length of the pack. We normally stash away rubbish, dirty clothes and rain jackets. The running vest inspired harness makes it super comfy to carry, means the pack fits nice and close to your back which allows you to move faster and has the benefit of holding a flask to drink on the move.

Fit tip:
Comfy for a fastpacking pack

For me, its sweet spot is a trip where I want to move fairly light but still have room for the gear the conditions demand.

Fit tip:
I’ve found the sizing runs quite small. Try it on with some weight in it and see where the shoulder straps and hip belt sit before you choose a size.
  • Challenge Sailcloth Ultra 200 body fabric is lightweight, tear resistant and extremely durable
  • Running vest-inspired shoulder straps with extra storage pockets makes for comfortable and dynamic carrying system
  • Roll-top closure, taped seams and waterproof fabric create weatherproof pack body
  • Removable frame pad gives structure with minimal weight penalty
  • Removable hip belt system with stretch pockets can reduce weight or allow for user modification
  • External Power Mesh stretch outer pocket and two oversized ripstop side pockets
  • Four adjustable and removable Dynex core compression straps secure the pack and allow for alternative adjustment and lashing systems
  • Internal sleeve is hydration bladder compatible
  • Modular Design allows quick and secure attachment of the Beta Light Satellite 4L Bag for additional storage
  • Main pack volume is 43 litres plus dual 1-litre side pockets while stretch front and hip pockets are a bonus volume
