Perfect all-rounder. I’d recommend this bag to anyone looking for a larger volume day bag, an ultralight overnight mission, or even for a longer thru hike like the Camino. If you’re carrying minimal gear, say: sleeping bag, change of clothes, 2-3 days food, and some rain gear etc, this pack is an awesome option for staying in Serviced Huts and carrying light. If you like to carry what some call the “luxury items” eg. pillows, several days clothes; or require more gear like tent/sleeping bag/gas cooker, go for a slightly larger volume bag. The back panel is super breathable, awesome for those scorcher summer days, and adjustable to get the right fit. The only thing I don’t love about this bag is that the sleeping bag compartment is sewn in, so you can’t get a pack liner all the way down and will need to use a separate dry bag for this area of the pack if you like to use both a pack liner and rain cover. While a women's pack, the frame is quite tall and narrow - some women find that it's quite narrow/stiff and doesn't fit wider hips as well.

Fit tip:

Narrow/tall frame - may be high behind the head on shorter torsos or too narrow for wider set hips

The Eja 38 is a great option if you are weight conscious and are at the point in your hiking journey where you want to carry less. The pack itself is incredibly lightweight, its mesh back panel provides very nice air flow. The pack has been stripped down from any feature that would tend to add weight on regular packs while maintaining essential components such as, dual water bottle holders, thin compression straps, zipped hip belt pockets and a spacious outer mesh. This pack is designed to carry light loads only. In my opinion, your pack will collapse in itself and feel awful if you pack over 10-12kgs with the Eja 38. This is a very specific style of pack for someone who understands the trades off of owning and carrying lightweight gear.

Exos 38 is the scaled down version of the Exos 48. Packing for overnighters or perfecting that lightweight kit while maintaining comfort - Fantastic! Airspeed suspension frame provides great airflow between the bag and your back. The classic drawstring top opening has a twist, with the ability to detach the brain for shorter trips. Quickdraw hiking pole storage and mesh drink bottle pockets and front pouch. If your goal is cutting weight and maximising comfort, Exos is a great choice!
