This has been a great helmet for anything from sport climbing at the local crag, to early morning alpine pushes with a headlamp fitted. It's nice and lightweight and has heaps of venting for hot days, and the straps sit nicely and don't rub. I find the dedicated headlamp strap at the rear and the fins at front keep everything nice secure and doesn't bounce. As it has exposed foam on the sides for weight saving, I'd look at something else if you're caving or you're particularly rough with your gear.

It's the most comfortable helmet I've ever worn. It's so light that I forget I'm wearing it, no excuse to not have it on for every climb. You do have to be a little bit more careful when travelling with it, but I find that a worthy compromise. Perfect if you're looking to shave every last gram or if you find heavier helmets uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time.

Fit tip:

Accommodates larger, more circular head shapes well.
