If you are a first time climber, these shoes are a great option for you. The velcro makes these climbing shoes super practical to get in and out of between climbs and at the end of your sessions. Having synthetic shoes is good for people who don't want the shoe to break in too much or widen over time or are looking for a more affordable first pair. Make sure when you are trying on the shoe that the fit you are trying right there and then is what you want your shoe to feel like at all times. Be weary if you have low volume feet and consider laces as the velcro model tends to have more volume and be less adjustable.
