Anfibio leather: is full grain leather given a unique treatment that permanently bonds chemical substances to each fibre within the leather to make it fully waterproof and stain resistant.
tri.aria™ Membrane System: is a holistic approach to sustainable comfort at the core of Anatom® footwear philosophy. Tri.aria® is the amalgamation of three key components: waterproofness, breathability and care. These three elements create a highly comfortable and sustainable interior and microclimate:
- Waterproofness: a co-polymer membrane that is breathable and provides a waterproof barrier which compliments Anatom®'s high quality leathers and outer fabrics.
- Breathability: as moisture passes from your foot to your sock to the upper each stage is carefully managed to optimise your comfort.
- Care: waterproofness, breathability and the performance of the footwear are all enhanced by using the appropriate Nikwax® care products.
Hydrophobic Interface One Liningâ„¢: allows internal moisture from your foot and sock to pass through freely. The moisture can then evaporate through the tri.ariaâ„¢ open cell foam and microporous membrane and ultimately the external material.
Calibrated Midsoles: support the foot during its adaptive phases, ensures the footwear flexes in the right place and provides the appropriate underfoot protection. Excellent lateral and torsional stability is provided by the high quality nylon polymer material used. Currently Anatom® provides 5 levels of calibrated fles:
- Level 1 Flex: multi-activity, trail and approach footwear
- Level 2 Flex: light hiking boots
- Level 3 Flex: trekking boots
- Level 4 Flex: mountaineering boots
- Level 5 Flex: climbing boots
Vibram® Sorapis outsole is made with XSTREK compound for optimum balance between traction and durability. It is reliable on uneven grounds, gives good underfoot feedback and provides stability and walking comfort. It features a large contact area for grip on rock and an asymmetrical heel for natural rolling.

*Due to the oversized nature of certain products in our range we must charge an oversized shipping fee of $30 for 1 oversized item, or $50 for 2 or more oversized items to reflect the cost of shipping. This will include large packs, tents or heavy items. In most cases, a note will be displayed in the product description where this is applicable.
International Orders:
We are unable to ship internationally.
NZ Overnight Delivery:
All standard orders are sent via NZ Post’s Overnight Delivery Service. Orders placed before 2pm are usually delivered the next working day - nationwide, however delivery timeframes may occasionally vary due to courier delays outside of our control.
- Options for 'Signature Required' or 'No Signature Required' via the checkout.
- We deliver to NZ physical addresses and PO Boxes (no parcel lockers).
- We ship Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays).
- For Rural Deliveries and in certain parts of NZ - time frames may take a bit longer.
- Additional delays may also occur if further payment or address information is required.
- Your Order Confirmation Email and Shipping Confirmation Email will be sent from shop@bivouac.co.nz
- Orders with both standard and oversized items in them, will be delivered in the oversized delivery timeframe of 3-7 working days.
We strongly advise all customers to check goods thoroughly upon delivery before destroying packaging or removing any attached tags.
Oversized Deliveries:
Shipping of oversized items takes 3-7 working days. However you are able to pick these up Same Day should the oversized item be available in your selected store. Find out more here.
Track & Trace
All items are tracked using NZ Post. Check your Shipping Confirmation email for a link or click here and enter your tracking details.
To get your order to you as quickly as possible, your items may be shipped from multiple locations. This means your order could arrive in separate packages or be delivered on different days.

Non Shipping Days and Delays:
- Orders placed late Friday or over the weekend are processed the following Monday.
- Sale periods may cause delays due to increased order volume.
Note: During public holidays courier services are unavailable and dispatch will occur the next working day:

Rural Delivery:
No additional charges or fees for any rural deliveries throughout New Zealand. Some rural deliveries may take longer than standard NZ delivery times. Rural may take a further 1-2 days.
Cancellation Policy:
Unfortunately orders cannot be cancelled or modified once they are placed. However, if there's an issue with your order, please contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible and we'll do our best to help.
