- Cleans effectively, restores water repellency and revives breathability
- Revives the performance of your gear, keeping you warmer and drier
- Easy to apply: can be used in a washing machine
- Suitable for use on all fabrics, including technical textiles
- Recommended for GORE-TEX®, Windstopper®, Nikwax Analogy® and all other waterproof, windproof and fleece clothing and gear
- Lifts out dirt that can attract water and mask water repellent finishes
- Unlike detergents, it does not leave behind water attractive residues which encourage 'wetting-out'
- Uses per bottle: 3-4 items
- How to use:
- Use neat Tech Wash® and a sponge or soft nylon brush to treat stubborn stains before washing
- Remove all non-washable parts
- Shake well before use
- Follow care label instructions
- Do not use detergents
- For clothing, machine wash:
- Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser
- Place maximum of 2 garments in washing machine
- Use 150ml in medium/hard water areas and 100ml in soft water areas for 1-2 items
- Run 30°C synthetic cycle and slow spin (front loader) or 40°C synthetic cycle (top loader)
- Alternatively, just apply Nikwax in a simple hand wash
- Drip-dry or tumble dry on a low setting if the care label allows
- For tents and accessories:
- Apply item in hand-hot water in a sink or bowl and agitate
- Rinse thoroughly in clean water
- Drip-dry
- Volume guide: To clean 1-2 items use 2 full caps (100 ml) in soft water or 3 full caps in hard water. Quantities used will depend on condition and size of items
- You don't need to re-waterproof every time you clean; Regular cleaning will enhance the performance of your gear. With regular cleaning, you should be able to clean your gear 5-6 times with Nikwax Tech Wash before it requires re-waterproofing. When Nikwax Tech Wash® alone does not revitalize the Durable Water Repellency (DWR) of your gear (e.g. water does not bead on the fabric surface) it's time to re-waterproof using the appropriate Nikwax waterproofer.

*Due to the oversized nature of certain products in our range we must charge an oversized shipping fee of $30 for 1 oversized item, or $50 for 2 or more oversized items to reflect the cost of shipping. This will include large packs, tents or heavy items. In most cases, a note will be displayed in the product description where this is applicable.
International Orders:
We are unable to ship internationally.
NZ Overnight Delivery:
All standard orders are sent via NZ Post’s Overnight Delivery Service. Orders placed before 2pm are usually delivered the next working day - nationwide, however delivery timeframes may occasionally vary due to courier delays outside of our control.
- Options for 'Signature Required' or 'No Signature Required' via the checkout.
- We deliver to NZ physical addresses and PO Boxes (no parcel lockers).
- We ship Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays).
- For Rural Deliveries and in certain parts of NZ - time frames may take a bit longer.
- Additional delays may also occur if further payment or address information is required.

- Orders with both standard and oversized items in them, will be delivered in the oversized delivery timeframe of 3-7 working days.
We strongly advise all customers to check goods thoroughly upon delivery before destroying packaging or removing any attached tags.
Oversized Deliveries:
Shipping of oversized items takes 3-7 working days. However you are able to pick these up Same Day should the oversized item be available in your selected store. Find out more here.

All items are tracked using NZ Post. Check your Shipping Confirmation email for a link or click here and enter your tracking details.
To get your order to you as quickly as possible, your items may be shipped from multiple locations. This means your order could arrive in separate packages or be delivered on different days.

Non Shipping Days and Delays:
- Orders placed late Friday or over the weekend are processed the following Monday.
- Sale periods may cause delays due to increased order volume.
Note: During public holidays courier services are unavailable and dispatch will occur the next working day:

Rural Delivery:
No additional charges or fees for any rural deliveries throughout New Zealand. Some rural deliveries may take longer than standard NZ delivery times. Rural may take a further 1-2 days.
Cancellation Policy:
Unfortunately orders cannot be cancelled or modified once they are placed. However, if there's an issue with your order, please contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible and we'll do our best to help.
