- Microbe and Germ Resistant: water and stain repellent, the mask can be laundered up to 30 times while maintaining 100% of the HEIQ V-BLOCK® performance. After 30 washes, the HEIQ V-BLOCK® will slowly diminish.
- Built to last: durable polyester fabric outperforms cotton in a 10,000+ cycle abrasion test, and is faster to dry and wick moisture

- Filters greater than 95% of virus, bacteria, and particles in accordance with ASTM test standards
- Reduces the risk of contaminant transmission by utilising very high filtration efficiency when used in conjunction with a mask

- Breathable and non-irritating
- The filters are designed to be disposable, replace based on your amount of use and judgment. If you live in a hot climate or wear a mask 8+ hours a day to work, you may want to replace your filter more frequently. Average wear should give you approximately 5-7 days.
- Note: This face mask is not intended for medical use. Outdoor Research recommends following guidelines outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for mask use.
- Tips/best practices for wearing a cloth face mask:
- The face mask should fit snugly against the sides of your face and over your nose and mouth, secured with ear loops. It should be comfortable, and you should be able to breathe freely.
- Keep your face mask on your face, completely covering your nose and mouth, the entire time you're need it
- Don't wear it down around your neck or up on your forehead
- Touch your mask as little as possible and if you do touch it, wash your hands
- Handle your mask by touching the ear loops or ties not the face covering
- Don't touch your eyes, nose or mouth when removing your face mask
- Place your mask back in its protective pouch after removing it
- Wash your hands immediately whenever you remove or handle your face mask

*HEIQ V-BLOCK® treatment: Heiq V-Block is the brand for an innovative Swiss antimicrobial technology which makes treated textiles resistant against the degradation by microorganisms and inhibits the growth of bacterial odours. It is added to the fabric during the final stage of the textile manufacturing process.
- Strong antimicrobial efficacy demonstrated by ISO 20743 and ISO 18184 tests. Antimicrobial properties built in to protect the product. Product does not protect users or others against bacteria, viruses, germs or other disease organisms. Always clean the product thoroughly after each use.
- HeiQ V-Block can be used for clothing, home textiles and accessories such as face masks and gloves to make them extra resistant against degradation by microorganisms
- For washable fabrics: the treatment is effective for at least 30 washes at 60°C
- Hypoallergenic, made out of 100% cosmetic ingredients, 72% bio-based (USDA bio-preferred label pending)

Depending on how often you wear it, you should wash a face mask routinely. You can put it in a washing machine or wash it by hand.

*Due to the oversized nature of certain products in our range we must charge an oversized shipping fee of $30 for 1 oversized item, or $50 for 2 or more oversized items to reflect the cost of shipping. This will include large packs, tents or heavy items. In most cases, a note will be displayed in the product description where this is applicable.
International Orders:
We are unable to ship internationally.
NZ Overnight Delivery:
All standard orders are sent via NZ Post’s Overnight Delivery Service. Orders placed before 2pm are usually delivered the next working day - nationwide, however delivery timeframes may occasionally vary due to courier delays outside of our control.
- Options for 'Signature Required' or 'No Signature Required' via the checkout.
- We deliver to NZ physical addresses and PO Boxes (no parcel lockers).
- We ship Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays).
- For Rural Deliveries and in certain parts of NZ - time frames may take a bit longer.
- Additional delays may also occur if further payment or address information is required.
- Your Order Confirmation Email and Shipping Confirmation Email will be sent from shop@bivouac.co.nz
- Orders with both standard and oversized items in them, will be delivered in the oversized delivery timeframe of 3-7 working days.
We strongly advise all customers to check goods thoroughly upon delivery before destroying packaging or removing any attached tags.
Oversized Deliveries:
Shipping of oversized items takes 3-7 working days. However you are able to pick these up Same Day should the oversized item be available in your selected store. Find out more here.

All items are tracked using NZ Post. Check your Shipping Confirmation email for a link or click here and enter your tracking details.
To get your order to you as quickly as possible, your items may be shipped from multiple locations. This means your order could arrive in separate packages or be delivered on different days.

Non Shipping Days and Delays:
- Orders placed late Friday or over the weekend are processed the following Monday.
- Sale periods may cause delays due to increased order volume.

Rural Delivery:
No additional charges or fees for any rural deliveries throughout New Zealand. Some rural deliveries may take longer than standard NZ delivery times. Rural may take a further 1-2 days.
Cancellation Policy:
Unfortunately orders cannot be cancelled or modified once they are placed. However, if there's an issue with your order, please contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible and we'll do our best to help.
