- High altitude mountaineering, tramping and ice climbing
- HDry® Gaiter provides extra warmth and protection from snow, made of SCHOELLER’s Ecorepel® Bio fabric, which ensures maximum comfort and water repellency. The fabric is laminated with a waterproof and breathable HDry® membrane to prevent water entry while reducing weight and thickness.
- The RECCO reflector, positioned on the upper edge, enables rescue tracking in case of emergency
- A pant attachment strap is located at the base of the YKK® 8 water-repellent zip
- The toe area is protected by a rubber reinforcement
- The external closure features a water-repellent, heat-sealed YKK zip running along the gaiter. The zip pull is designed for easy grip, even when wearing gloves. Closure at the boot collar is adjustable via an internal drawstring, preventing entry of snow.
- The internal closure consists of the Fast Lock System, allowing independent adjustment of the two tension zones of the inner shell for optimal fit customization. Eyelets mounted on movable flaps facilitate volume adjustment in a single motion.
- Shell Tech HD is Made of water-repellent Microtech, a material that resists water and offers high abrasion resistance. Insulation is provided by PrimaLoft® Gold with Grip Control, a 100% recycled synthetic material that ensures excellent thermal protection. The non-slip grip guarantees a secure and stable hold, ideal for high-performance footwear.
- The microfiber is combined with a PVC structure to create a special EXOSKELETON that enhances protection, support, and foot containment, while simultaneously integrating the lacing system. The Ortholite® O-Therm insole ensures maximum cold insulation.
- Dynamic Tech Roll System is an innovative integration of upper and sole, ensuring an ergonomic fit and optimal performance synergy during walking. Precision Tech Roll AC/D reduces fatigue and effort during walking, featuring a Vibram® Durastep rubber outsole known for reliability and durability. It ensures optimal grip on wet surfaces and consistent performance even at low temperatures. Compatible with automatic crampons.

*Due to the oversized nature of certain products in our range we must charge an oversized shipping fee of $30 for 1 oversized item, or $50 for 2 or more oversized items to reflect the cost of shipping. This will include large packs, tents or heavy items. In most cases, a note will be displayed in the product description where this is applicable.
International Orders:
We are unable to ship internationally.
NZ Overnight Delivery:
All standard orders are sent via NZ Post’s Overnight Delivery Service. Orders placed before 2pm are usually delivered the next working day - nationwide, however delivery timeframes may occasionally vary due to courier delays outside of our control.
- Options for 'Signature Required' or 'No Signature Required' via the checkout.
- We deliver to NZ physical addresses and PO Boxes (no parcel lockers).
- We ship Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays).
- For Rural Deliveries and in certain parts of NZ - time frames may take a bit longer.
- Additional delays may also occur if further payment or address information is required.
- Your Order Confirmation Email and Shipping Confirmation Email will be sent from shop@bivouac.co.nz
- Orders with both standard and oversized items in them, will be delivered in the oversized delivery timeframe of 3-7 working days.
We strongly advise all customers to check goods thoroughly upon delivery before destroying packaging or removing any attached tags.
Oversized Deliveries:
Shipping of oversized items takes 3-7 working days. However you are able to pick these up Same Day using Click and Collect, should the oversized item be available in your selected store. Find out more here.

All items are tracked using NZ Post. Check your Shipping Confirmation email for a link or click here and enter your tracking details.
To get your order to you as quickly as possible, your items may be shipped from multiple locations. This means your order could arrive in separate packages or be delivered on different days.

Non Shipping Days and Delays:
- Orders placed late Friday or over the weekend are processed the following Monday.
- Sale periods may cause delays due to increased order volume.
Note: During public holidays courier services are unavailable and dispatch will occur the next working day:

Rural Delivery:
No additional charges or fees for any rural deliveries throughout New Zealand. Some rural deliveries may take longer than standard NZ delivery times. Rural may take a further 1-2 days.
Cancellation Policy:
Unfortunately orders cannot be cancelled or modified once they are placed. However, if there's an issue with your order, please contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible and we'll do our best to help.
